Aircraft Support Ventures ("ASV," "we," "our," or "us") operates aircraftsupport.com, app.aircraftsupport.com, and related services that connect aircraft operators with maintenance providers ("Services"). We take privacy seriously and want you to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users in the United States.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use ASV:
Account & Contact Information
- Name, email address, phone number
- Company or operator details
Aircraft & Operational Data
- Tail numbers, serial numbers, aircraft type
- Maintenance history, documents, photos
- Scheduled or emergency service requests
Usage & Technical Data
- IP address, device type, browser version
- Authentication logs, access timestamps
- Cookies and tracking pixels (Vercel Analytics, GA4 if enabled, HubSpot)
Messaging & Communication
- Messages exchanged between operators and MROs
- Attachments (images, PDFs, documents)
- AOG request messages and logs
Voice & AI Interaction Data
- Voice onboarding transcripts
- Local (in-browser) AI processing events
- We do not train models on your content
Billing & Referral Data
- Payment details processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe)
- Referral events (including incentives such as digital rewards)
Uploaded Content
- Maintenance records, compliance documents, certificates, images, or any files you choose to upload
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage ASV accounts
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
- Match operators with qualified MROs
- Support AOG ("Aircraft on Ground") emergency coordination
- Facilitate messaging and communication between operators and providers
- Improve aircraft metadata accuracy
- Perform analytics and product improvement (Vercel Analytics, HubSpot, optional GA4)
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Provide customer support
- Send onboarding and service-related emails (via SendGrid)
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as necessary to deliver ASV's core functionality:
With Maintenance Providers (MROs)
When an operator submits a service request or communicates with a provider, shared data includes aircraft info, contact details, messages, and uploaded documents.
With Service Providers
We use trusted third parties to support our platform:
- Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
- Vercel (hosting and analytics)
- Railway (backend services)
- SendGrid (email delivery)
- HubSpot (CRM and analytics)
- Stripe (payment processing, if used)
These providers act as processors and do not own or repurpose user data.
We DO NOT share any personal data with:
- FAA
- Law enforcement unless legally required
- Data brokers
- Third parties for advertising
Mobile Information & SMS
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Geographic Scope & California Users
ASV currently operates within the United States.
California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have specific rights, including:
- Right to know what data we collect
- Right to request deletion
- Right to access or export your data
- Right to correct inaccurate information
- Right to opt out of marketing communications
We do not "sell" personal data as defined by CCPA/CPRA.

- Account data: Until the user requests deletion
- Aircraft data: Retained unless an operator requests removal
- Logs: Retained for 90 days
- Message history: Retained indefinitely (for compliance and operational history)
- Uploaded documents: Retained until deleted by user or upon request
6. Security
We protect user data with modern, industry-standard safeguards:
- Encrypted storage (Supabase Postgres)
- HTTPS for all network communication
- Strict access controls
- Signed URLs for file downloads
- No staff have access to user data except the CTO for legitimate support or debugging
- Monitoring and alerting through hosting providers
7. Your Rights and Choices
Users may:
- Request deletion of their account and data
- Request an export of their information
- Update or correct their profile
- Opt out of marketing emails
- Revoke consent to optional features
- Limit data sharing during onboarding

ASV is not for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. AI & Automation Disclosure
ASV currently uses local in-browser LLM models for certain onboarding and assistance features.
We do not:
- Send user data to external AI vendors for training
- Train internal models on your content
- Collect biometric identifiers
We may process:
- Voice onboarding transcripts
- System-generated suggestions
All AI usage is strictly for improving your experience.
